At the beginning of every year, Pantone releases the color of the year and people go bananas over it. It always creates all sorts of opinions and it always sets the mood for that year’s wedding color trends. This year the color is: 16-1546 or, what Pantone calls Living Coral.
As Pantone defines it: It is a vibrant, yet mellow tone and it embraces us with warmth and nourishment to provide comfort and buoyancy in our continually shifting environment.
It is a very vibrant color that lots of my brides have requested already. Vibrant seems to be the name of the game this year with lots of couples going through that route for their wedding decorations and floral arrangements. But don’t let the beauty of this color full you. If this is the color you would like to have on your wedding day you must have in mind that it is also a hard color to combine. Not everything goes with the coral tones and its vibrancy should be combined with soft tones in order to make your wedding look modern yet sophisticated.
The wrong choice of colors can kill the entire mood of your celebration, so if coral tones are what you are looking for your wedding, keep scrolling for ideas of how to combine it with tones like soft pinks, golds and greens to create a vibrant, yet sophisticated event.
When I was called to participate in this shoot I got excited right away. Not because the vendors were one of my favorites in town; or because I knew the shoot was right on my style, but because the idea behind is was so great that I couldn’t let it pass.
Intimate weddings are very popular in the last few years, I keep getting more and more inquiries of brides with small intimate celebrations and I promise you they have absolutely nothing to envy to those big huge events that were so popular a few years ago.
500 people weddings are over: say hi to the new generation of small, romantic venues!
