Right when we thought the world would be shut down forever, I was lucky enough to get to share this South Dakota wedding with Hannah & Mike. I met them so long ago that I can’t even remember all my conversations with them. One thing is for sure: I loved them the moment I heard about their wedding plans. And once I was their wedding photographer, they were not going to get rid of me.
Hannah and Mike decided to spend their day at JP Denmark. A beautiful wedding and hunting venue close to Viborg, South Dakota. As a wedding photographer, this venue had been on my bucket list for a while. So when I talked to Hannah for the first time and she told me where her wedding was, I did the little happy pants dance at home. Guys, you have no idea how pretty this place is. For real: Go check their website.
Not only were they lucky to have one of the most beautiful fall days in the history of South Dakota (we were in short sleeves all day and I got burned!), but their wedding party was a treat to photograph. Everyone was so happy that it made me feel more like a guest than just a wedding photographer.
