Spring engagement session | Outdoor Campus | Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Spring is here and that means engagement season is in full blast! I wanted to take the opportunity today to feature one of my favorite couples from 2020 and their gorgeous engagement session at the Outdoor Campus, right next to the Butterfly House, in Sioux Falls.

These two really got the best day ever for their engagement session, and even with them being a little shy at the beginning, I was able to make it through and get some genuine giggles out of them. Now tell me, how cute is Hailey’s outfit??!

Also, for those wondering, I always recommend my couples to wear two different outfits during their engagement session. One a little bit more dressy, and another one more casual. Why? Well, it is always good to have photos in an outfit where you feel comfortable and cute; and the more dressy one because… who doesn’t like having photos taken wile dressed up, right? I mean, my husband never dresses up but I do LOVE the way he looks when he does!

So hear me out on this one: get the engagement session taken and try to dressed up for it. You won’t regret it. Also, as an extra tip today: you should really try to coordinate with your hair a make up person and have your make up try-out and your hair try-out the day of your engagement session. You will kill 2 birds with one stone and look even more gorgeous during your session.

I mean… just like Hailey did! no kidding Joel fell over heels for her, don’t you think?
