One of the first things that came out of Rachel and Colin’s mouth during our consultation meeting was a Michael Scott reference on the show The Office. It was at that very moment that I knew I wanted to work with them. I didn’t care about their plans, date or venue; if a couple is going to open their meeting with me with a Michael Scott joke, they are mine to keep. Period.
Of course once we got into more deep wedding conversation there was no doubt in my mind that they were my ideal clients. Their wedding was going to be perfect and their personalities matched mine to the point that I forgot that we were just a couple and a vendor getting to know each other to go into the “How long have we been here already? and When can we hang out again?”. There was no going back for me. I was in love with them. Dear Rachel and Colin: It was love at first site! I wanted to do your wedding as much as I wanted Jim and Pam to end up together!
Keep scrolling for the hottest wedding of the century, and yes, I am talking about temperature, because when hey had to move their wedding date from May to July due to COVID, they truly chose the hottest day of the year in South Dakota.
I have to say, that for me, it was worth it. This couple deserved a Dundie and I will never forget them. I hope you enjoy their photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
