Olivia and Mason’s Summer Outdoor Wedding
Olivia and Mason’s summer outdoor wedding happened during the hottest day of 2024. Love and excitement filled the air as they exchanged vows at The Atrium in Sioux Falls, SD. I gotta say that, despite the heat, their day happened with lots of joy, surrounded by their closest friends and family, and me, who was lucky enough to be there to photograph it!
The Venue
The Atrium provided the perfect backdrop for Olivia and Mason’s wedding. With its elegant architecture and lush greenery, it created a wonderful atmosphere for this perfect love story. The venue’s natural light perfectly complemented the couple’s vision of a romantic and elegant celebration (and if I can say it, my dream wedding style too!)
The Details
Olivia stunned in a gown adorned with delicate embroidered flowers from Marie and Marie Bridal, embodying timeless elegance. Mason looked fantastic in a dark blue suit, a trendy choice that highlighted his eyes. The girls in the bridal party added the perfect pop of color with their hot pink dresses from Azazie, creating a vibrant contrast against the backdrop of the day’s natural beauty.
The Couple
Olivia and Mason’s journey began six years ago when they first met in high school. Since then, their love has blossomed, creating a strong foundation rooted in friendship, respect, and mutual admiration. Olivia’s sisters mentioned the words “cheesiest couple” during their speech… In my head, they are just two best friends in love and let me tell you: those are 1. the best couples to photograph and 2. the marriages that last the longest (you can ask my husband about it!). Their wedding day was definitely a testament to their bond and dreams for the future.
The Wedding
As the sun set on this super hot day, I got to witness how Olivia and Mason exchanged vows, promising a lifetime of love to each other. The ceremony was followed by a lively reception filled with dancing, heartfelt speeches, and unforgettable moments that marked the beginning of their married life. Tears of joy mingled with laughter as I saw them doing games and dancing with the help of Jason from Energy Event Group.
Olivia and Mason’s wedding day was not just another wedding for me. It was the perfect reminder of why I do what I do, and how much I love doing it. In a day full of love and drama-free, with a gorgeous bride, a handsome groom and a bunch of people that made me feel like I am part of their family let me tell you: I didn’t want to leave at all.
