Pink summer wedding by the Missouri River
Oh where do I begin? This wasn’t just another wedding for me. This was a dream pink summer wedding next to the Missouri River and I have been looking forward to it ever since my first message from Raegan!
I first met the beautiful Norwick family around 2016 when I photographed Drew’s senior photos in Pierre, South Dakota. Then, I had the honor of capturing Raegan’s senior photos too. At this point, they were just school friends.
Well, this past weekend, I photographed their amazing wedding at the side of the incredible Missouri River, again in Pierre, South Dakota. It felt like the sweetest reunion as soon as I walked into the bridal suite. Mrs. Norwick (Drew’s mom) hugged me as if I was a family member that she hadn’t seen in a while and me and Raegan picked up right where we left off after their engagement session! It felt like so much had changed and yet it also seemed like nothing had changed at all. Seeing everyone again was just so amazing. Lots of other kids that I took senior photos of all grown up… they made me feel old int he best way!
Beautiful portraits with river as a background were captured, joyful and tearful toasts were given, memories were made and Raegan and Drew were married! It was all so wonderful and I’m so ready for the next time I get to see everyone again 🙂 Enjoy this recap of the day! Congratulations Raegan and Drew!
